1. Flying Lessons Rental
(includes fuel and CFI fees)
5 and 10 hour blocks
Rate Per Block
This option secures 5- and 10-hour blocks of flying lessons at $145 per hour. (Patrons pay the $110-per-hour frequent-flyer rate for the aircraft plus a $35-per-hour instructor fee). Patrons taking flying lessons do so with Course Agent-affliated CFIs and receive priority in scheduling their flight times. 2. Frequent Flyer Rental
(includes fuel)
5 and 10 hour blocks
Rate Per Block
This option secures 5- and 10-hour blocks of flying time at $115 per hour, a slightly reduced rate for partrons who fly often (3 to 5 hours per month). Patrons who buy flight time in blocks are able to schedule their flying times well in advance. Your flying time will be subtracted from your deposit; your hours used and hours remaining will be posted on the calendar and emailed to you after each flight.
3. Introductory Lesson
(includes fuel)
Deposit: $150
Present
Rate Per Hour
Name on Gift Certificate
This option provides the potential flying student with an overview of the education and practice involved in obtaining a Private Pilot's Certificate. Patrons discuss their interests with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), then experience flight in a small, general aviation aircraft. Introductory flights make excellent gifts. Just complete the name of the lucky recipient in the form field (left), and we'll mail you a handsome certificate that can be stuffed in a stocking or slipped into a birthday card. Visit the AOPA website Let's Go Flying for additional information and materials about learning to fly.
4. One-Time Rental
(includes fuel)
Deposit: $120 per hour
Rate Per Hour
This option secures flying time anticipated for flight. Please round up to the number of hours your trip is likely to take. Make realistic estimates, for the wind is not always at your back. Your hours remaining balance can be applied to the next flight or reimbursed by check. If you plan to rent the plane for more than 4 hours or refuel the aircaft on one of your legs, please select the Long Cross-Country and/or Multi-Day Rental option below.
5. Long Cross-Country
and/or Multi-Day Rental

(fuel NOT included)
Deposit: $80 per hour
Rate Per Hour
This option provides for pilots who wish to fly a long cross country and/or multi-day trip. If you are planning a trip that will exceed 4 or more hours of flying time, you will be responsible for your own fuel expenses. As usual, the aircraft will be fueled prior to your flight; however, you will be required to return the aircraft topped off. The average price for 100LL fuel in the Southeast is currently $4.86. Check 100LL.com for best rates. Note: There may be a minimum daily charge for multi-day flights.
6. Check-Out Ride Deposit
(includes fuel and CFI fee)
Rate Per Flight
This option secures the flying and CFI-observer time for a check-out ride. Check-out rides normally last 1 to 1.5 hours. They are required for all patrons, with the exception those receiving flight instruction or those who have recently received a flight review with a Course Agent-affliated CFI. If you haven't flow in a long while, it may be to your advantage (both financially and instructionally) to schedule a flight review.
7. Flight-Review Deposit
(includes fuel and CFI fee)
Rate Per Flight
This option secures the flying and CFI time for your flight review. Flight reviews are required of most pilots every two years, and comprise, at a minimum, 1 hour of flying time and 1 hour of ground instruction. The flight review is a kind of informal test to assure that you are, by FAA standards, an informed, capable pilot. You should contact your flight instructor well in advance of your flight review and work with that instructor to establish what will take place during the review.
8. Sightseeing Deposit
(includes fuel and
commercial pilot fee)
Rate Per Person
This option secures flying time for one or two passengers interested in Delta sightseeing. Flights leave from the Cleveland Municipal Airport (KRNV) at times arranged by the passenger(s). Patrons who need to make specific routing plans should contact the pilot at least 1 day in advance of the flight. There is a two-person maximum. See the sightseeing section of this website for more information.
9. Add an Instructor
(Rather not fly it alone? Consider adding a CFI.)
Rate Per Flight
This option allows pilots who may be a little rusty to add a certified flight instructor in the right seat. Be careful to pair your flight instruction with the hours you plan to rent the aircraft. To add flight instruction to a flight, contact one of the Course Agent-affliated CFIs to co-ordinate a flight day and time as well as the kind of instruction that will take place. Like your flying time, instruction time will be subtracted from your deposit; your hours used and hours remaining will be emailed to you after each flight.
PayPal is one of the easiet ways to "pay cash" for products and services purchased online. Visit the PayPal Site for more information! If you need to pay by
check, be advised that deposits must clear the bank before an aircraft can be rented. This can take some time. Make checks payable to Course Agent, LLC.
